I'm conducting a Watercolor Workshop in Lake Charles, LA on Saturday, October 14, 2017---hosted by Gallery on the Lake.

If you are new to watercolor or an intermediate watercolor artist, you will want to attend this workshop. My workshops are informal, fun and relaxed. We'll paint a Fall motif which will have an emphasis on lights, darks, shadows, soft / disappearing edges, lifting pigment, mixing pigments, handling watercolor material and techniques (salt, sandpaper, magic eraser, alcohol, splattering, sponging, masking). This will be a "paint along with the instructor"----demo a section, then paint.

What a great class of artists in my June 24, 2017 Watercolor Workshop hosted by the Real Art of DeRidder, LA!

Each one of the students can surely call themselves watercolor artists. We all painted the same motif but each painting came out unique and original to each artist's style.  I'm so proud of their talent.  Each one was like a sponge soaking up instructions but using their own taste and creativity.

I look forward to each time I visit DeRidder. The people there are awesome.

Keep those brushes wet!!!
