This finished pelican painting is now available for purchase. Please check out the majesty of the beautiful Louisiana state bird. Pelicans are commonly seen in warm regions (Gulf Coast), however they are seen further south like Australia and northward in Canada too. Contact me at [email protected].

I completed Laurin McCracken's 5 day workshop Reflections in Silver. Laurin is not only a wonderful hyper realistic artist, he's a wealth of history, facts, and experience with watercolor paints, brushes, papers, and techniques. He's traveled the globe to find out the intricacies of how a watercolorists materials are made. Laurin's paintings and techniques are Dutch inspired and beautiful.

I'm humbled and honored to have won 3rd Place in the Watercolor Art Society-Houston 50th Annual Membership Show. My painting PEACHES IN SUNLIGHT was chosen by the Juror. Thanks to all of you who commented and also came to see the painting in person.
